Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.


Stock Availability, Pricing and End of Line Stock Offers

Regular stock checks are run to determine the availability of products. All prices shown on our website are for warehouse stock quantities only. We reserve the right to refund in full any order received after our warehouse stock has been exhausted. Goods classed as end of line stock will be removed from the site at the earliest opportunity. At certain times items may go out of stock during the working day, should this happen, after you have submitted your order, you will be contacted as soon as possible by one of our Customer Service Advisers.

Delivery Schedule
All orders received before 2pm will ordinarily be shipped on the day you order it. All items shipped to mainland UK will be delivered on a next working day service (some products are sent direct from the manufacturer - in this case delivery period will be within 3 - 5 working days and this will be stated clearly on the advert), All Lawn Tractor orders are shipped on a 2 - 3 day service. Privacy Policy
1. When you place an order with West Skelston Services Ltd , using our secure on-line server, we ask you for your name, address, phone number and credit/debit card details. These details are used by us and our agents and contractors to enable your order to be delivered to you as accurately and as quickly as possible. We do not use them for any other purpose. WSS does not maintain a database containing your private information and we do not pass on that information to anyone else other than for delivery purposes to our carrier companies, neither do we send “random” marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam).

2. We use Cookies, which are small text files on your computer containing identifying information, to make the link between you and the information you have provided to the website. This allows your shopping basket to be kept separate from other users and enables us to automatically complete some of the forms we ask you to fill in. The creation of a cookie on your computer does not give the website any access to other information such as your e-mail address. Returns Policy
We value you as a customer, and it is important to us that you are completely satisfied with every purchase from us. All we ask is that upon receipt of your goods, you carefully inspect all boxes for damage, if you are unhappy with the condition of the package please sign the carriers documentation as DAMAGED. Upon receipt make sure that all items are there and nothing is missing. You MUST contact us immediately if there are any problems so that we can make a claim on the carrier responsible for delivery. We require immediate notification as we only have 24hrs from time of delivery to make any claims.

IF YOU FIND THAT ANY PORTION OF YOUR PURCHASE HAS BEEN DAMAGED IN SHIPMENT

Please notify us by email (sales@westskelstonservices.co.uk) or call us on 01387 739445 within 24hrs of receipt. This is vitally important! We will begin the process to have the merchandise returned within 2 days of notification. Damaged merchandise presented for return, must be accompanied by a copy of the original shipment receipt. Please take precautions against additional damage to the merchandise you are returning. We will contact you within 2 days to advise you of collection arrangements.

IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH YOUR PURCHASE

If you wish to return your purchase, and the return is not due to an error of ours (i.e. – you ordered it and then decided that you didn’t want it), you may return it and we will gladly credit you, minus any shipping charges if it is returned in an unused unopened and re-saleable condition within 14 days.

IF THE CONTENT OF YOUR PACKAGE IS NOT WHAT YOU ORDERED

If the item needs to be returned and the return is due to an error of ours (i.e. – we accidentally sent the wrong merchandise), please accept our apologies. We will accept full responsibility for re-shipping the right product to you. Please notify us by email (sales@westskelstonservices.co.uk) or call us on 01387 739445 within 24hrs of receipt. We will begin the process to have the merchandise returned within 2 days of notification, please enclose a copy of the original shipment receipt. Please make sure the item is resealed and take any appropriate precautions against damage to the merchandise you are returning. We will contact you within 2 days to advise you of collection & reshipping arrangements

CONDITION OF THE RETURNED GOODS

Please email us (sales@westskelstonservices.co.uk) or call us on 01387 739445 and let us know you wish return part or all of your purchase. Please explain the cause of the return. Be sure to include your name and address and the sales invoice number which can be found on the top right hand corner of the paperwork. We will notify you of the date of collection for the parcel – please ensure you are in to return it to the carrier.

For undamaged items, they must be in their original packing material, and any free gifts or other items that came with the item must be included. The product must be received in brand new, un-used and re-saleable condition. We reserve the right to charge you a maximum of the replacement cost of the item if it is returned damaged as a result of improper packing.

For damaged items being returned, they must be in their original packing material.

CREDIT

Upon receipt and inspection of the returned merchandise, you will be credited either by cheque or credit card depending on which method you used to pay by. You will receive confirmation of the transaction in the post with your cheque or credit card refund attached.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS ARE REPORTED TO US WITHIN 48 HRS AND WE PROMISE TO DO EVERYTHING IN OUR POWER TO FIX THE PROBLEM. WE CAN ONLY SORT OUT THE PROBLEM IF WE ARE AWARE OF IT
